LegalPRO Systems, INC.

Do you smell smoke?(or The Evolution of I-Got-Notices™)

Charlie saw a need
for managing the
massive volumes
of e-mail more
efficiently...

In the very early days of bankruptcy filing, notices were handled by chisel and rock.

Next paper notices were all the rage.  Staff spent days opening the mail, filing the documents and making copies.  That is not the case any longer.

With the advent of CM/ECF, courts began noticing by e-mail.

In 2004, Charles A. (Charlie) Fielder, III, the President of LegalPRO Systems, Inc., saw a need for managing the massive volumes of e-mail more efficiently, as well as a need to save attorneys money they were spending on PACER to see the linked documents.  As the law changed and became even more complex, and the deadlines became more treacherous, he added the concept of saving staff time by automatically clicking on the “free look” links and capturing the PDF files so no-one needs to dedicate an entire day to the Save As function in Windows.

We rolled out
I-Got-Notices™
in April 2006.

We rolled out I-Got-Notices™ in April 2006 .  It was such an instant success, that we couldn't leave it alone.  Charlie kept thinking.  We added many more features: lots of sorting, filtering, and calendar options.  You can filter e-mail by specific phrases in the text of the message; you can sort by case number; or you can do both at the same time.  Every date in every notice is automatically calendared for review.  You can see your calendar next to your paralegal’s calendar.  You can look at a day at a time, a month at a time, or, if you’re really a planner, a year at a time.

Well, Charlie’s still thinking, and the latest development is the list of creditors that is compiled on your computer from the proofs of claim you’ve received in your notices.  Hmmm, would these addresses possibly be “good” noticing addresses?  Most folks we talk to say YES.

We invite you
to try the program
for 15 days
at no charge.

We’re going to keep Charlie thinking and some even more amazing new features are already on the way, but for now, we invite you to try the program for
15 days at no charge.  It usually doesn't take that long to know you want it, but you can have the full 15 days anyway.  The goal of I-Got-Notices™ is to make your practice more efficient and less hazardous.

introdOnce you see how good I-Got-Notices™ is, we invite you to take a look at our BankruptcyPRO® and DoingTIME™ programs.

BankruptcyPRO® is our extremely powerful petition preparation and filing program.  It includes FlashDOCS™ which is a word processor/merge capability for additional forms or letters you might wish to create in your case.  BankruptcyPRO® also includes a document tracker to provide you with an audit trail of the documents you generated and/or filed in your case.  There is also a scanning utility built-in for filing attachments to your forms.  BankruptcyPRO® provides a strong Chapter 13 plan calculator for handling the difficult math and has considerable flexibility so you can tailor the program for your needs.  Take a test drive so you can see it for yourself!

DoingTIME™ is a time-and-expense and/or flat fee billing program.  It works well for any type of practice.  One special bankruptcy-related feature is the ability to track payments due from the Chapter 13 trustee so you can see when you’re not getting your payments and follow up.  It is extremely useful in preparing fee applications and monthly statements.  You can track your time to see how you’re doing against a flat fee rate.  DoingTIME™ handles trust accounts as well.

All of our programs fit together nicely to make a full case management system, but don’t require the others to be effective.

Please call us for further information.  In the meantime, Charlie's still thinking.
